* Learn to become a dolphin trainer at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage with Trainer for a Day. Get up close and personal with one of nature’s amazing marine animals while playing, training and interacting with a family of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. For this unique experience, guests don a wetsuit and dive mask for in-water training sessions. Along with a continental breakfast and three-course lunch, guests receive a souvenir polo shirt, ball cap, commemorative photo, photo CD and a certificate of completion to remember their day as a dolphin expert.
Cost: $550 per participant, varying seasonally (each participant may have up to two observers share the day’s experience and the price for an observer is $150). At Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, guests (up to four participants) can learn the tricks of the trade and be well on their way to becoming a mixologist. Experience what it takes to concoct a savory cocktail as Monte Carlo’s director of beverage teaches the art of bartending in Mixologist Training & Tasting. It’s safe to say, once you get home, you’ll be the hit of the party. Did we mention there’s a tasting involved? Cost: $75 per person.
